Who can Umpire What? 2011/2012

FOR ANY UMPIRE WHO HAS ATTENDED A FORUM FOR THE CURRENT SEASON, ELIGIBILITY IS AS FOLLOWS:

Winter (Sat) Premier Division :

- B award or higher
- Recommended C award (C* on eligible umpire list)

Please note that as novice status no longer exists, umpires must hold a C award or higher for all other divisions of Saturday / Sunday / Summer / Leagues except as below :

Anyone who is currently affiliated and who has attended a C course within 2 years prior to the start of the 2011 – 12 season should only umpire as follows:

- The LOWEST SENIOR DIVSION in the league eg if there are 4 divisions, course attendees may umpire division 4 fixtures
- Junior League

Umpire mentors may recommend that individual umpires working towards C qualification can officiate higher fixtures. Eligible umpire lists will be updated regularly and circulated to club secretaries to reflect any such recommendations.

If you are unsure of umpire eligibility, please contact either the relevant league secretary or the umpiring secretary for clarification or you risk losing points!

The Committee reserves the right to observe any fixture and give appropriate feedback to umpires.

Umpire Mentors 2011/2012

C Award

In Nottinghamshire, we currently have 8 C award umpire testers. These are the personnel who are therefore best suited to mentor anyone wanting to take their C award umpire test. Anyone wanting help from a mentor should contact the County Umpiring Secretary (contact details are in the current handbook held by each individual club secretary):

B Award

In Nottinghamshire, we currently have 2 B award umpire testers who may be willing to mentor anyone preparing for their B award test. Anyone wanting their help should contact them directly (details may be found on the current eligible umpire lists held by each individual club secretary):
